Established in 2007, the Consorzio per la tutela dell’olio extravergine d’oliva Piemonte (Consorzio EVO Piemonte) brings together passionate agricultural entrepreneurs dedicated to professional olive growing in the Piedmont region. We protect, enhance, and monitor the entire production cycle of Piedmontese extra virgin olive oil—from the care of local olive trees to final bottling.
Our primary mission focuses on certifying local authenticity and establishing official quality standards, actively working toward achieving Protected Geographical Indication (PGI/IGP) recognition. Partnering with research bodies like the Fondazione Agrion and the University of Turin, we map centuries-old regional olive trees to safeguard local biodiversity and preserve unique sensory profiles. Additionally, we offer certified olive oil tasting courses to build professional regional evaluation panels and educate the public on premium oil standards.
