The first week of June marks a massive scale-up in the dissemination of the OLIWA Project. In a coordinated demonstration of scientific and institutional impact, our consortium members will simultaneously deploy across three major European events from June 9th to June 12th, showcasing our latest advancements in olive waste bioconversion and sustainable food systems.
Brussels: Institutional Strategy at CBE JU

By official invitation from the PRIMA Foundation, the OLIWA project coordination will participate in the highly anticipated CBE JU (Circular Bio-based Europe Joint Undertaking) Food & Feed Workshop in Brussels. This strategic presence allows us to align OLIWA’s operational results directly with European policymakers and key stakeholders in the bio-based sector.

A Massive Scientific Front at IFW 2026

The Insects to Feed the World (IFW) 2026 Congress in Turin will see a heavy deployment of OLIWA researchers. Three key academic partners—UNITO, LEAZ, and UNIBOU—will present breakthrough data on insect farming using olive byproducts:
- Oral Presentations: Delivered by UNIBOU & LEAZ.
- Poster Sessions: Presented by UNITO & UNIBOU

DIL Technology Day: Showcasing Applied
